I'm stuck on page 78, losing the will to live. Can anyone tell me if anything happens in it? Should I keep reading? Or can I give up now, safe in the knowledge I'm not going to miss anything? Any advice much appreciated!

Afraid I haven't read it myself, but someone on twitter says that it gets exciting if you persist!

I read it recently. I really liked it! However, the pace and mood stays pretty much the same throughout so if you don't like it I should stop now and find something else to read!

Thanks folks! I did plough through to the end, and it did get a bit more solid. I think it was just the praise of his car that had me stuck. But in the end I don't think it's my type of book!
