Why does Eagle & Child always seem to run out fish & chips?

I did manage to get fish and chips there not long ago. Not very good, and heavily salted chips. When the manager asked me if I'd enjoyed it I told him this. He said that the salting was company policy (presumably to make customers thirsty) and asked me if I was not content. When I said I wasn't, he gave a full refund, which was more than I expected.

Where can I find a really determined divorce lawyer in Oxford (I am male) ?

Sorry not to have been able to answer earlier. Be careful about using a "really determined" lawyer. There are solicitors who will push a case far beyond what is reasonable, whether to make money or simply out of the urge to "win". But this is a very expensive and not very useful approach. What you need is a good solicitor who will not be browbeaten but will know the sensible limits of what can be done.

Where can I find agressive divorce lawyer who doesn't think you should give everything away?

You are mistaken about traditional court ideas. The modern 'tradition' is an equal split, but if it is really only a few weeks of marriage, then there is not likely to be much claim. You don't want an aggressive lawyer: the main outcome of that is that the case takes much longer and costs a lot more. You want a sensible negotiator.

Oxford Choirs

I think the Bach Choir is very demanding. A friend, a good singer, was chucked out because her sight-reading was not good enough.

Where can I buy fabrics?

There is, or certainly was, a fabric stall in the covered market, eastern aisle.

Maggots in our new food waste recycling caddy/bin :(

I haven't had a maggot problem yet, but had thought about it. It occurred to me that an occasional spray with fly-killer would inhibit infestation.
