Pleasant village hall with nice playground and garden, used regularly for a Montessori nursery, am dram performances, meetings, wedding receptions and other parties, and all manner of village events. No allocated parking, though there is parking on-street around the village. The hall was 80 in 2012, but has been well looked after and regularly updated with new tech, including a large PV array on the roof. The lights are LED (including colour change lights!), there are ipod and bluetooth connections, the sound system is upgraded and there's a digital wireless hub available on request.

Hiring information: The village hall offers a large hall area; a stage, spacious fitted kitchen; a meeting room; a projection screen; disabled access and disabled toilet facilities and a hearing loop system. General hire is £20ph, but there are various different rates for different activities. For all enquiries contact booking secretary: Jennifer Attoe.

I went to see Home Truths which was a series of 3 plays put on by St Peters's Players (Wolvercote). My ticket cost £5 because I am a student. The 3 plays lasted 2 hrs altogether which was incredible value for money. Of the 3 plays, I preferred The Last Bread Pudding. I laughed and laughed. I strongly recommend it. Its last showing is on Saturday 24th of April.
