I attended Oakfest for the first time last year, and I loved it. We took my niece of 5 years old, my son of 9 years, 2 other nieces of 13 years of age and a range of adults up to the age of 60. Everyone had a great afternoon and evening and they are all coming back this year! In fact we have a house full and some now camping in our garden!!

There were 12 music acts last year from bands to solos and they were all local performers who were brilliant. While the music was on, there were a whole load of activities put on for children which kept them busy like face painting, crafts, a photo booth, sports activities and demos.

The bar was awesome with a whole lot of local ales and ciders on sale as well as a complementary selection of spirits and wine. Additionally we all bought food on site which was excellent.

All in all it was a brilliant day out, and we can't wait for this year's Oakfest!
