And they did what they said they would, 3 gents and a curvaceous lady, not for just a minute, but for a full hour. We'll forgive the brave foursome for the inevitable and essential repetition and deviation, but they did keep going. This was entertainment on many levels. Little had been been expected, but there was surely talent and ambition amongst these performers. The ad hoc songs were formulaic but fluid, being led and accompanied by a clever keyboard player who must have been practicing on silent movies. We even got some decent vocal harmonies. When the plot development slackened, the leading lady maintained our interest by attempting and failing to keep herself fully covered by her shrunken green jumper. A nicely original erotic device. In sum, well worth a look. But arrive a bit early since on my night, they started at 7.30 and you would not want to miss the start.
