Great book! I bought this for my two boys after hearing a reading given by Cassandra in London.
She proves to be as compelling a author as she is speaker. I particularly enjoyed the spiritual elements to her work. Despite being grumpy teenagers this kept my two quiet for hours.

One the best titles I have read in years. I thoroughly enjoyed this and would highly recommend it.

Yet another Oxford author showing the world how it's done.

I would like to thoroughly recommend this book. I was particularly pleased to realise this was a local author.
Fantasy fiction is a favourite of mine and this book is definitely in my top 5 (1st at the moment).

I admit I only picked up this book as I am a hopeless book launch addict. Nothing is more fun than popping along to a bookstore after hours and enjoying all the excitement and the chance to explore the shelves in peace. So seeing that Blackwell's had decided to support this local author I dutifully bought a copy and put my name down for the launch.

This is the first young adult title I have read in years and I loved it. The characters were rich and full; the action fast paced and convincing and I finished it in two sittings. The launch was pretty good too! I highly recommend this lovely book.
