Two tickets cost me about £80 including booking fee and I have to say I feel short-changed by the show. There was the frisson of excitment of being in the presence of a comedy god - but he's so cravenly living on past glories that it left me (and my wife) feeling disappointed. He basically runs through his career and illustrates it with film clips from the big shows (Frost, Python, Fawlty Towers, plus Holy Grail, Wanda and a few other bits & pieces). First half 50 minutes, second half 40 minutes tops (and only about 15 minutes of original material). The tribute to Graham Chapman was hilarious and all the film clips are great of course. But it hardly makes for a great live show.
