I expected more, given all the golden globes, but I did enjoy seeing Clooney in a 'normal' low key role and the intriguing landscape of Hawaii. I think i would have identified more with the 'normal' tone of the story if the older daughter wasn't a teen model. I thought this was a fine movie with George Clooney on top form. It had a story and explored a whole gamut of emotions in a very touching way. Some of the superficialities of American lifestyle were acutely observed. Don't be put off by mm - go and watch it! Quixote (Unverified), 16/02/12 Oh dear! If you can stay awake, there are a few interesting takes on how a "family" copes with bereavement. But overall this is a pretty dull movie, and possibly the poorest bit of acting you could see from George Clooney... he's just in too many films these days for you not to get bored of him eventually.
