Had never visited Oxford before, but found the owner very helpful. The place was spotless, very comfortable and well-organised, the food was excellent. There was also internet access which was most helpful. Our young daughter suffers from a serious illness and the owner and her family went out of their way to make sure she had everything she needed - this was the first time we had ever taken the children to any guest house. The location is very convenient, just a short bus ride from the City enabling us to leave the car in the free parking area. There are enjoyable walks along the Thames less than half a mile away. I was so impressed that I put a page on my personal website to recommend the place. We will be back!
bluecoatboy, 09/08/07 I stayed here with my family for two nights. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, bright and airy. I was impressed with the fact that there is internet access too. There is a bus stop right outside that is a few minutes ride into the centre of Oxford. It is a two minute walk to the River Thames where you can hire a punt or pedalo and there are some lovely places to visit within walking distance. (We caught a bus into the centre and took the children to the Natural History Mueseum.) I cannot recommend this establishment enough. fairenuff, 08/07/07 Brilliant B&B.
