Thomas Bodley's library is now one of the UK copyright libraries (which between them house a copy of every book published - apparently the Bodleian specialises in books by people beginning with M...) and one of Oxford's iconic buildings. Tours now allow you to explore some of the mysterious underground areas, which are extensive: the Bodleian is a bit like an iceberg in that respect.
