Barton Leisure Centre

Just had my first visit: neat and clean, the pool is strictly functional, but rather small so it can get congested...mind out when you do that reverse stroke, beware of side kicks...! otherwise, well kept and worth the money!

Pool's a bit cold (unless you're in the fast lane or doing aquasports, I guess), but the place is very modern, with clean, spacious changing rooms (including family rooms), plenty of lockers and a nice little waiting/lounge area with a good view of the pool. Parking is ample. Evening lanes sessions can be busy, as the pool's not that big. The hot showers on the way in/out are ace!
