I bought coffee here a few times but at varying quality. One coffee was fantastic, but another few times it was barely drinkable - the waiter apparently did not understand what "skimmed milk" is and made me a lattee with essentially "milk", the coffee tasted bitter. Great pity for the place.
Coffee drinker (Unverified), 01/03/11 A new delight has opened in North Oxford's gorgeous North Parade. That quirky shopping street running from the turning just north of Gee's restaurant on the Banbury Road (with a beautiful walkway adjacent to St Phil and Jim's Church and through to the Woodstock Road opposite Leckford Road) is pure village meets Mayfair. Not only a great shortcut from Jericho to the Banbury Road, this gem of a street filled with restaurants, designer shops, galleries, pubs and hair and beauty salons now is home to a fabulous cafe with a wonderfully warm welcome to match. Sited in the former post office buildings, this cosy cafe is a great place to meet your friends or relax in your own company. They offer free WI-Fi access and specialise in some tasty home cooked soups, light lunches like jacket potatoes with fillings suitable for all diets and cakes that delight the taste buds. Prices range from £1.50-£4.50 which is great value as there are many home cooked delights here. With my delicious latte today I had a warmed olive, sun dried tomato and feta scone buttered generously and served by the friendly owner and staff. This is food to dream about on a wintry afternoon. Their homemade gluten free honey and almond cake is divine. They certainly have lived up to their name and have mastered the art of creating a cafe experience which is a truly scrumptious 'Piece of Cake'.
