Travelled with 3 mates from the Malt Shovel Tavern in Northampton this week to see Rob Tognoni. Great evening/ great act/ great venue.

I went to The Bullingdon on Thursday night with a friend who is in an electric wheelchair. We would like to say a very BIG THANK YOU!!! because the staff and customers bent over backwards helping us over the step to get in and out for our fag-breaks. They made us feel so very welcome, we will definitely come again,

We enjoyed listening to the live bands too, and will spread the word to everyone. The Bullingdon is a great place and wheelchair-friendly thanks to the staff and customers which is a refreshing change... I am still buzzing.

Many thanks,
Sarah and Julian

Actually the potential to become a major little venue -size is ideal (400 capacity) & sound & lighting seem to be getting better & better as each week goes by just lately. Obviously someone/ some people are investing heavily in the place on the right things so expect BiG things of this place is our suggestion. If you're a band then get your arse there & play it because it's the find of the year as far as me & my mates goes. A1 proper pub/ bar & we love it!!!

Jonny & Stu, 06/05/09

A proper pub with drinks at very reasonable prices and the best blues bands in the back bar, on a Monday, for miles around! hat more could you ask for.

Rough and ready, my bum. It's a great pub that puts on great music. I don't want a plastic theme pub, thanks very much.

Attracts a bit of a rough crowd, but it's alright for a few pints in the front bar and the back bar has some good live music and the odd club night.

I regularly visit the front pub area of this venue as it serves cheaper than average pints, has the footie on and is open till 12pm week nights. Bit rough and ready sometimes but good for a few pints on a week night or as a stop off on the way into town at the weekend. Limited space and seating is the only gripe.

One of Oxford's main venues although until recently something of a joke soundwise. A nice new PA has rectified this. Standout Nights: The Monday night blues night has taken over the Brewhouse's (RIP) mantle of being the number one place for blues in Oxfordshire, attracting an impressive roster of performers.
