One of my favourite restaurants in the whole of Oxford! The dosas (South Indian pancake) are particularly amazing... and something different from the usual Indian food. Served on a kitsch plastic tray with loads of dips and dhals - and designed to eat with your hands (if you're going for authentic Indian style). Yummy! The lassis (made fresh with homemade yoghurt) and Masala tea are also delicious.

The staff are lovely here. This place really deserves to do well. Very highly recommended!

This is my favourite restaurant in the whole of Oxford. The food is delicious, each dish has a distinct flavour and is a real pleasure to eat. They serve South Indian food and Nepalese, both of which are wonderful. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. Really recommended.

Its between Manzil Park and Divinity Road, so right near the bus stop too.

I went here with my family for lunch today - we all ate from the lunch menu, and it was delicious! I had the chicken wrap (which wasn't spicy) and my mum had the traditional Sherpa lunch which was medium spicy and very good.

We all drank mango lassi's - which for £1.50 is very reasonable, as they are amazing! I definitely recommend Sherpa for a reasonably priced lunch of delicate flavours which make an interesting change from Indian food!

Very friendly service too! You won't be disappointed!

Really what a delicious Nepalese. The Chicken Bhutuwa was really amazing with rice. Thanks Sherpa! Hope to see you again in the near future with my family and friends.

We ordered a Nepalese take away from Sherpa and the food was amazing. Less oil than normal take away food, a perfect blend of spices and good value for money. Lamb Choyala for starter and fried noodles were fantastic. Ate it with the Euro final and really enjoyed it!

We went to new restaurant Sherpa at Cowley Road on 01/07/2012. The Nepalese food was delicious - particularly the dumplings for starters. I had the vegetable ones, while my partner had the lamb - both were very tasty. Although there are Indian choices on offer too, we ate solely from the Nepalese menu and weren't disappointed. Personally, I enjoyed everything I ate (Mis Mas fried noodles for main is my recommendation). They also serve a lovely Nepalese beer. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful and the menu was exceptionally good value. We can't wait to go back - well done Nepalese chaps!!
