Rectory Farm can claim to have won Pick Your Own of the Year 2008 and 2012, so it is definitely worth a visit. Asparagus season begun early May this year. There is a separate PYO asparagus site and PYO times are listed there: Tues-Thurs 2-6pm; Fri 10am-6pm; Sat-Sun 9.30am-1pm. Main PYO and the farm shop are open May to the end of August every day, 9.30am to 6pm; the Country Café open 10am - 5.30pm. PYO crops strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, whitecurrants, blackberries, asparagus, broad beans, carrots, beetroot. Many over a long season. Lots of potato varieties. Farm shop has fresh fruit and vegetables and indicates seasonal produce availability in their calendar here. Ample car parking. Children's play area and sandpit. Picnics. Easy disabled access. Opening hours: Opening hours change regularly but are kept up to date on their website!
