We received a warm welcome on arrival at this simple 2 star hotel. Rooms were small and basic but clean, which was all we needed as we were planning to spend most of our time elsewhere in Oxford. We were warmly greeted at breakfast. A delicious cooked breakfast was freshly prepared for us - better than at any of the 4&5 star hotels that I regularly stay in on business - and just what was needed after a good night out! It is situated on a main road, but was far quiter than I was expecting. If you need parking, let them know when booking and they will ensure a space for you. If you want a 5 star hotel this is not for you, but if you want a simple, clean and friendly hotel in a central location and plan to spend most of your time in Oxford rather than in your bedroom, this could be for you.
