I had a really fun evening at The Mad Hatter. The Alice in Wonderland cross with speak easy vibe is fantastic, a unique way to have a drink and socialise. The drinks menu is excellent for cocktails, but don't forget you can have beers and all the usual stuff too. Definitely try a Tweedledum or a Tweedledee which are fantastic thirst quenchers but also served in complete Hendricks tea sets. I highly recommend this place, and I'll be going back again as soon as I can!

Just what Oxford needed! This is a great little venue. Me and a few friends went on a Friday night to check it out, so much fun and has real theatre to it! Love the speakeasy style, very much in fashion and with a little Oxford and Alice in Wonderland twist. AMAZING cocktails, about time someone rivalled the pricey and pretentious options in Jericho. This place is great fun, with good music which got people up and dancing later in the night, plus had great fun with the staff and HOT waiter! A great little twist is that you can ring the bar to order form old school phones. This place got it right! Good luck to them! I will be back. x

As you walk through the tiny entrance to the Mad Hatter (having to answer a riddle on the way in) you already feel like you're entering a different world. Cocktails served in teapots (with matching cups) and top hats add to the excitement! This bar is a far cry from some of the more boring cocktail bars found in Oxford, and is well worth a visit if you're on Iffley Road. It's not just a bar to visit - it's a bar to experience...

Cool, laid back and way, way different. The Mad Hatter is a great experience, if you can get on the guest list!
