Although I read mixed reviews about the guesthouse, I found that the location was very convenient and the staff were really accommodating.

Becket House accepted me on a moment's notice and were extremely helpful and friendly. My schedule was varied, with frequent trips away from Oxford, but they did all they could to work with me. When I return to Oxford, I will be staying there again! PDP, 09/12/07 As said in another review, it did not look all that much from the outside, but it was nice enough, basic but clean, shower in room, soap, towels, nice breakfast what more could you want?! The gentleman who greeted us was very nice. QQ, 25/07/06 We booked with credit card in advance and arrived to find we had been double booked. The staff did their best but the attitude of the manager was appalling. As we left, 4 other people arrived to be given the same treatment. sd, 27/05/06 Beckett's Guest House was not very inviting looking from the outside but we were given a warm welcome. The room was clean: new towels each day of our stay. Breakfast was good, the dining room old but quaint. Parking in the railway station just across the road was reasonable. peacocks, 10/11/05
