Without a doubt the finest location in Oxford for a sandwich. Bread and fillings are fresh and as good as you will find east of Java! Staff very willing and friendly to help you select, and the coffee is excellent, when hot! Just ask. If you are a tourist make the effort to walk and return home full of praise for our beloved sandwich.

I first encountered this place when trying to find Jericho (being on its doorstep) and it has now become my favourite deli in Oxford. It offers the usual selection of deli counter products (cold meats, cheeses, olives, etc.) as well as an entire wall of lovely little jars of condiments, preserves and oils, with many rare finds. There are also harder to find pastas and gift confectionary, whilst stocks of more common brands are also available. I used to stop there for breakfast at a time when I had to work in Jericho on a Wednesday morning and I found their breakfast baguettes and packaged sandwiches both to be delicious, and it is also one of the few places where I can find proper pink lemonade for when I'm feeling in a pink lemonade sort of mood. Overall, Taylor's is a great little deli, good for finding rare or specific ingredients, grabbing breakfast or lunch, or just to browse. It's a truly lovely little shop.
