I would like to emphasise that I absolutely love this Morton's - that is, the coffee, the cakes, and the cosiness. However, every time I go there the service is rude and dismissive. Having worked as a waitress myself, I know how difficult it is to keep smiling, and I'm the last person to want overbearing service, but a simple smile, please and thankyou, and at least a little grace when asked for a glass of water would go a long way. Apart from this small flaw, I think this is a great little cafe.
