The Oxford Sandwich Co.

I'm Brazilian but have studied in Oxford for a while and have only good memories about this place. It was tasteful, cheap and I got discounts for being a student. Couldn't be better! ;) We (my friends and I) would always go there to eat those delightful sandwiches - my favourite was the salmon one. One of the things I miss most about Oxford.

Really great Sandwich shop and much bigger sandwiches and better prices than the other shops in the market! Whenever I'm in town I always get my lunch here... Love it!

I attended Jesus College in the summer of 2003. During that summer I ate a turkey, mozzerella, and garlic butter panini nearly every day for lunch. They are fantastic! To this day when I think of Oxford, The Oxford Sandwich Company is one of the first things that come to mind! Wonderful! I'd make a trip from the U.S. just for that panini!

Tucked away behind the greengrocer's inside the Covered Market is this absolutely delightful sandwich shop. The varieties are plentiful and the two members of staff are always welcoming and friendly. The staff also tend to rely on suppliers within the covered market for their produce which gives it a sense of community spirit. The menu is well adapted to give a wide range of hot and cold lunch time sandwiches, baguettes and paninis; they have also recently introduced a fabulous cake selection!!!
Can't speak highly enough about this place.
