Restaurant, Café & Deli / Sandwich Bar & Drinking Establishment
Formerly the dreaded Wig and Pen, this large, two-floor, glass-fronted venue has enormous TV screens showing all major sporting events & enormous bouncers who presumably are there to check you have the right kind of shoes on. I stopped by for a casual solo lunch and ordered a drink, nachos, and a sandwich. Even though there were only two staff on the floor, they were extremely efficient and friendly, working the bar, putting in food orders, delivering the orders, and even coming around twice to check if everything was going well and that I didn't need anything else. The food was good (the nachos are spicy!) and the atmosphere for lunch is laid-back and quiet, which is nice when you're dining alone.
