Boss is the best Kebab Van and Man on the planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and he gives me free fruity pops!!! lol. We want him to move to Tampa Florida and be our live in chef. Love you boss!!! x x x

The location of Boss's on Castle Street is evidently poised to catch the post-Studio (or 5th Ave, or whatever it's called now) munchies crew, and catch them it does. Boss in Summertown is slightly more mysterious (is it the same van on a different night? How much do the chips cost? let us know if you do!).
Our carnivorous young kebab correspondent applied his new rating system to Boss's Castle Street branch and came up with the following results and comments.
Let us know if you disagree or can add more from your personal experience.

doner: small £2.80, large £3.30
doner & chips: £3.00
chicken: small £3.30, large £4.40
shish : £4.20
mix : £5.50
burger,(¼ lb): £2
burger,(½ lb) : £3.20
burger,cheese/chicken : £2.20
chips : £1
canned drinks :60p

marks out of 5 stars:

service *** time taken ** atmosphere ** food **** overall mark **½

specific meal & comment:

"I ordered a doner & chips & a coke. At first it seemed that Boss had been too skimpy on the meat - but the oil made up for it (not sure that's a good thing!).
The coke was warm, so not at all refreshing."

This meal was purchased at 1.30am on a Saturday night/Sunday morning, 31/07/04.
