China Kitchen offer over 100 Chinese dishes to take away. Delivery service available to Temple Cowley, Slade, Town Furze, Wood Farm, Littlemore, Rose Hill, Donnington, Blackbird Leys, Greater Leys, Kings Copse, Garsington, Horspath. They've been serving chinese food for 40 years.
Sadly a recent revamp means you can no longer read the fabulous FAQ about Chinese food nor an explanation of 'Wok Hey' and general good humour. But the new one retains the helpfulness at least.

I am very fed up with China Kitchen. When I had my order delivered, I realised that the size of the chicken fried rice was small, so I phoned them and the response was a lady telling me that I should return the rice and buy somewhere else. In this day and age you would expect a compromise rather than being told to go somewhere else. We used to buy often from them but I now don't think we will go back.

We tried the recommendation: crispy beef in chilli BBQ sauce, beef chow mein, chicken balls in batter with sweet and sour sauce, Singapore fried rice, and spring roll - still good value, same price nearly 3 years on and it's very scrummy!

I stopped buying Chinese takeaway when Goldon Wok (Cowley Rd) shut down as just couldn't find a good one. But this place has yummy scrummy food which is delivered quickly and an excellent service. I strongly recommend this place. :)

My boyfriend and I ordered: crispy beef in chilli BBQ sauce, beef chow mein, chicken balls in batter with sweet and sour sauce, Singapore fried rice, and spring roll and it only cost £22!

The food was VERY tasty, particularly the beef chow mein which was tender. Definitely the best compared to other Chinese take-aways in Oxford that we've tried. Telephone service was polite and friendly, fast delivery too. The menu has typical Chinese take-away dishes at reasonable prices. Very satisfied and will be ordering from them again :)

Just ate from there: food hot and really nice. Ribs were a little on the fatty side. Delivery was fast too.

I've ordered from them a couple of times and it's been really good. They have a good selection of food that comes in adequate sized portions and is really tasty, on the phone they are very friendly and understanding, also good level of spoken english is a big plus as it usually takes me no more than two minutes to order on the phone unlike some others where you have to spend around 5 minutes trying to explain what you want and then trying to listen to them repeating it back to you.

Anyways, I'd give them definite 8+ out of 10. If the food arrived in 30 minutes I'd give them 10 out of 10 - an hour of waiting is a little bit too much because if you're anything like me ( impatient and constantly hungry and live far from them ( which is my fault really ) ) and by the time food arrives I'm on the verge of ordering more food. :) Having said that food is always piping hot and tastes delicious!

P.S. They even have a website! :)

Chinese food is my favourite and I never expected to find a take away that was as good as what you would eat in a restaurant. The food is amazing - Non greasy and warm on arrival.

The capital ribs have barely any bone on them and are cooked to perfection with the meat coming off easily

Great service. Great food
