The Bilash is a classic of Botley. It's been here since I moved here in the 90's. However being a regular (once a few weeks) I know what the food tastes like and un-deservedly, the Bilash has let it standards slip a bit in comparison to the 90's. Please bring back your pizzazz and flare you used in your old food!
Edmund (Unverified), 26/03/11 Amazing food, restaurant cosy, staff more than friendly, take away meal great as the one to eat in. They are a family and we always felt part of their family. Great experience! 26/04/10 We always enjoy visiting the Bilash in Botley. It is very convenient to us, being within walking distance of home. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent. My particular recommendation has to be the Joypur Honey Duck. Fish (Unverified), 03/10/09 The Bilash is a bit of a mixed bag - I've had good meals here, but recent take aways have been disappointing - swimming in grease and overspiced. A pity as Botley needs better takeaway options. Mike (Unverified), 04/06/09 The Bilash in Botley is a well kept secret; It's set in a spacious & modern air conditioned venue, yet service is old fashioned with helpful well dressed waiters and pressed linen table cloths. The food here is fresh, of good quality, & well presented. Chicken dishes here are particularly good, The Chicken Tikka Bhuna is a favourite. Overall it compares favourably with other Bangladeshi/Indian restaurants. Free parking and a takeaway service too, what are you waiting for!. Newt (DI User), 11/07/07 We are fortunate that the Bilash is our local Indian restaurant - within walking distance - and we visit regularly, several times a month. Service is good and attentive, overall the cooking is good and sometimes really excellent. Recommended are the Korai and Bhuna dishes, lamb and king prawn versions particularly good. Well worth a try. IgorStrav (DI User), 30/06/07 Please fill in the boxes and then click "Send Review" to submit your review for Bilash Restaurant. | |
