Greene King. Traditional friendly village pub. Buzzing even on a Wednesday lunchtime. Looks out onto Wolvercote Green, the canal and Port Meadow beyond. Heated covered outdoor area for smoking or just braving the wintry elements. The Library is a self-contained room, good for meetings or large group meals, decked out with a vast selection of books. They may have been chosen for looks rather than content, and there's a bit of an eclectic selection, but there are plenty of appealing reads.
