Najar's falafel is legendary and for good reason! If you haven't tried it, you must. You won't be disappointed. And falafel is just the tip of the iceberg. Najar's Place may be a small hut, but the menu is massive (and delicious). And to top it off, the service is the friendliest I've found in Oxford by far. Enjoy! Tim D (DI User), 11/05/12 I too cannot speak highly enough of Najar's Place. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS and Najar and Masoud are the friendliest guys in town. Try the falafel pita with hummus and haloumi cheese on top. The smaller takeaway items are also superb, especially the vine leaves and motabbal. The prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommended! 09/03/12 Najar serves the best falafel in Oxford without doubt. Sadly, with competition from the big chains - there's now a Sainsbury's fifty yards away - he's thinking of turning his hut full of wonderful Middle Eastern munchies into a newsagent. This would be a culinary travesty. Go try his falafel (or kibbe, or any of the other goodies) while you still can, and hopefully word will spread enough to keep him serving us hungry Oxfordians for years to come. DvS (Unverified), 27/11/10 I cannot speak too highly of this falafel hut. Najar and Masood must be the friendliest people in Oxford and seem to know everybody's name. They produce the finest falafel and houmous wraps/bagettes (and there is strong competition!) The chilli sauce is also outstanding. I am also a fan of the spicy potato and spinach bhaji, each going well with houmous. My wife says the kibbe are are equally good and I have also heard good reports of the milkshakes. Try them once and I promise you will be returning frequently. David (DI User), 28/07/08 Please fill in the boxes and then click "Send Review" to submit your review for Najar's Falafel Hut. | |
