It is a very nice and ambient venue. I have eaten here once. I had the wild boar sausages with bubble and squeak and it was great! The views are enchanting and there is a good selection of wine. What more could you want?

I have been there a couple of times, once with my work colleagues and once with my husband. The first time I ordered trout and crayfish paté to start which was delicious followed by sea trout with samphire which was very nice indeed. The second time I had to resist having the trout paté and opted for mussels to start which were cooked in cider, also lovely, followed by chicken encroute with a chicken mousse - this was amazing. My husband ordered a rabbit terrine which he said was really nice and fish and chips with mushy peas for main which looked huge. We shared a lemon tart to finish which popped as we ate it. I would recommend this for a nice meal out or just to sit on the patio and unwind with a nice glass of wine. We are going there again for Sunday lunch.
