In case you didn't know, Monty Python’s Spamalot (by Eric Idle and John DuPrez) tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, with a bevy (or possibly a brace) of show girls, cows, Finnish fish-slapping dancers, killer rabbits and Frenchpersons. The show features such singalong classics as He Is Not Dead Yet, Knights of the Round Table, Find Your Grail and of course, Always Look On The Bright Side of Life. What's more, comedian, author and pole dancer Marcus Brigstocke is resplendent as King Arthur, star of Emmerdale and Hotel Babylon Amy Nuttall gleams as Lady of the Lake, and Todd Carty - expert ice-skater and EastEnders stalwart - is an inimitable Patsy.
Why are we telling you this?! Well, because Spamalot is fast approaching Oxford's New Theatre, where it will be ensconced from Mon 25 to Sat 30 Oct, 2010. AND ALSO: because, if you have eyes and brain sharp enough to work out the exact locations of the sneaky tins of spam depicted across Oxford below, you can win yourself free tickets to see the show on its opening night, Mon 25th Oct! And not only that - but BEER too. YES: beer. Oh, and some lovely, lovely spam.
There will be two sets of photos to investigate across two weeks, with a winner (2 tickets for Mon 25th, 2 bottles of Black Sheep Brewery's Holy Grail Ale, 1 tin of spam) and a runner up (2 tickets for Mon 25th) at the end of each week. Winners will be contacted at noon on Friday 15th and then noon on Friday 22nd Oct. Congratulations to the winners!
