For the older people and others at high risk
Between 9 - 10am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, Tesco stores will be open specifically for the elderly and those most vulnerable to coronavirus. This excludes Express stores.
Sainsbury's are open 8 - 9am Monday, Wednesday and Friday for elderly customers, disabled customers and carers.
Co-op have set aside a shopping hour for those at higher risk, but this varies from store to store - you can check the Co-op 'Find a store' page for more details.
Waitrose are dedicating the first hour of trade ever day to elderly and vulnerable customers, while at Marks & Spencer, it will only be the first hour of trading on Mondays and Thursdays that is set aside - see M&S stores page for more details.
Iceland have brought in special opening times for elderly and vulnerable customers, and NHS workers, but this depends on your local store - their store finder is available here.
For NHS and Social Care Workers
All Tesco stores (excluding Tesco Express) will dedicate the first hour of trade on Sundays for NHS workers.
Sainsbury's stores are open from 7.30 - 8am Monday - Saturday for NHS workers.
Marks and Spencer are setting aside the first hour of trading on Tuesdays and Fridays for NHS workers. See the M&S stores page for more details.

Morrisons stores are open from 7am-8am Monday - Saturday specifically for NHS workers.
Asda will be prioritising NHS workers in larger stores every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am - 9am. As of yet, Lidl and Aldi are yet to introduce special opening hours.
Food Bank and Community Larders

Botley Community Fridge - We will leave pre-packed bags of food outside the (new) Botley library Mon-Sat 12-1. They are marked ‘fresh’ and ‘non-perishable’. Anyone can take the fresh food. Please take the non-perishables only if you are in need or delivering to someone who is self-isolating.
Abingdon Community Larder - opening times depend on donations. Deliveries are available but are in high demand.
Oxford Food Bank has temporarily closed.
Other businesses remaining open
All non-essential businesses are now closed, after the announcement on Monday 23rd March. The businesses that are allowed to remain open include supermarkets and other food shops, medical services (including pharmacies, dentists and opticians), Post Offices, petrol stations and car garages, bicycle shops, hardware shops, vets and pet shops, and banks. A full list of exceptions is available here. We'll be collating the places that are still open, but as a precaution, it's worth checking before leaving the house.
The Cherwell Boathouse are trialling a community grocery shop to alleviate pressure on supermarkets. This will operate on Wednesdays and Fridays with collection from the Boathouse. You can find more information and request and order form here.
Minuteman Press printing services have changed their business hours to the following: Mon - Fri: 10am - 1pm, Sat - Sun: closed. You can stay in touch via telephone and email for all your design needs.
Walton Street Cycles is open and offering all normal services for folks who rely on their bicycles, with have extra safety measures in place in store. The team are extending their mobile services to all key workers outside of standard working hours – if you are a key worker or know someone that relies on their bike, please get in touch on 01865 311 610 and the team will do their best to help.
