Want to share your relatives’ First World War objects or memories with future generations? Help preserve their recollections and possessions without donating them by going along to the World War One Collection Day. Hosted by the Rumble Museum, through educational charity The Isis Project, this one-day event allows people to bring their wartime ephemera along and have the objects digitally scanned/photographed and the stories behind the possession recorded before being returned to its the owner. Interviewers will be on hand to record oral histories passed down from family members to preserve their stories for future generations. This information is then uploaded to the Lest We Forget website.
