The Bullingdon, 162 Cowley Road, Oxford OX4 1UE, Thu 1 February 2018
Hailing from Grimsby, The Brew have been praised for their psychedelic sound, gaining them the accolade of one of the top three live bands in Europe from Eclipsed Rock magazine. Touring their latest album Shake the Tree (2016) including the catchy track 'Johnny Moore', The Brew will be gracing the Bullingdon with their presence. With Jason Barwick on guitar/vocals, Tim Smith on bass and his son Kurtis on drums, The Brew are certain to grab your attention with their bluesy rock sound.
Ably supporting the headliners are local rockers Hell's Gazelles. These chaps are fiercely energetic so be prepared for hard-rock hits, filled with punchy choruses and gnarly riffs. Lead singer Cole Bryant, guitarist Nath Digman and drummer Luke Evans will be breaking in their new bassist at this gig so don't miss out. With earworms like 'You Ain't Nobody' and 'Dr Strangechild', this isn't a band you're going to forget in a hurry!
