Starting to waver on your fitness resolutions? Luckily for you, Oxfordshire’s first FitFest is hosting a launch event at the Westgate this weekend. This free event will feature pop-up fitness studio to get your blood pumping and a wellness zone to get advice and treatment to help you reach your fitness goals. Choose from 30 min HIIT sessions, clubbercise, yoga from AJ Active, Zumba, pilates, ((bounce)) – a workout on a trampette - and Groove Aerobics combines cardio, conditioning and choreography into a fun workout which can burn up to 700 calories in a single class.
The wellness zone will be hosting talks about yo-yo dieting, mental health and mindful eating which you can sign up to. Also joining the fun will be Neal’s Yard Remedies will be there with their acupressure chair massage, offering nutritional advice as well as craniosacral therapy, mini facials and massage. PS Fitness Oxford, experts in sports massage therapy, will be offering a complimentary neck and shoulder massage. There'll be pampering from Brothers Oxford who are offering head and hand massages and hair styling. Naturally Sweet Oxford will be providing tasty, healthy treats including protein balls, salads and more to keep you fuelled.
You can join two classes per day but some classes have sold out but you can join the waiting list in case there are any last minute cancellations.
