To mark the 15th anniversary of the successful deployment of NASA's Mars Exploration Rover-1, the Mars Society UK (in collaboration with Oxford University Artonautical Socity - AerOx) will be hosting an evening of talks and workshop looking at the opportunities that exploring Mars can bring. Speakers will include a Senior Policy & Strategy Officer for the European Space Agency and the Chief Engineer of Beagle II. The panel will bring their experience and knowledge of the Red Planet, and what we can do in terms of research, exploration and settling on it in what is sure to be a fascinating evening dedicated to one of our closest neighbours.
