The Annual Disability Lecture this year will be given by Jay Abdullahi and Kym Oliver, creators, educators and rule breakers seeking to reclaim the word 'cripple'. They aim to increase the visibility and highlight the narratives of women, femmes and non-binary people of colour living with disabilities. A wide range of subjects will be discussed including unconscious bias, racism and the lived experience of physical disabilities in a talk that will challenge many preconceived notions around disabilities.
