Ever wondered what happens behind closed doors in the science labs at the University of Oxford? Find out for yourself by visiting the Through the Looking Glass exhibition in University Parks as part of the Oxford Science Festival. 24 microscopy images of cells from humans, animals, plants and medicines flaunt the intricacies and beauty which are never usually visible to the human eye. Named after Inkling Lewis Carroll’s work, the exhibition aims to make the link between art and science more explicit by unearthing the beauty of the everyday. You can even vote for your favourite piece using its individual hashtag! For a different take on nature, why not head to the Story Museum to see Rachel Gracey’s abstract print collection entitled A Walk in the Parks, which was inspired by our very own University Parks.
