Have you ever wanted to try American Football? Oxford Saints Women's American Football Team is running a crash course for newbies to have a go at this fast-paced, hard-hitting sport. There will be a classroom session teaching you the basics, and a couple of practical sessions where you can try out the different positions, before heading along to an evening social at the City Arms in Oxford.

The one-day course is open to all women aged 18 and over, and takes place at Tilsley Park, Abingdon. It runs from 9.30am-3.30pm, and is £10 per person. Attendees should bring studded boots, a gumshield, leggings and a long-sleeved top - helmets and pads will be provided.
