Summer festival, with a headlining set from Scouting for Girls.
Wallingford Sports Park, Hithercroft Road, OX10 9RB, Fri 22 June - Sat 23 June 2018
Rugfest is back, this time bigger and better than ever before! There's a fun live music line-up, including the oh so love-er-ly Scouting For Girls, a George Michael tribute act and Anglo-French singer-songwriter Michael Baker. Make sure to catch high-energy alternative rock duo Rews, as well as local lads Ciircus Street (no, that's how it's spelt) who will be playing at Truck in July.
This festival is geared towards keeping the kids (ergo parents) happy with a jam-packed schedule filled with stilt walking, an eco bag making workshop, pop-up performances (fire eating, whip cracking or juggling), a circus skills workshop, a hoop weaving workshop, bhangra workshops, drumming workshops, a kids' disco, and to end the day the big show with Captain Jack Rumbucket and his scurvy crew.
Keep your energy up by visiting one of the many street food vans or by having a cheeky pint of Loddon's brews. Proceeds from the festival goes towards supporting Footsteps Foundation so party on safe in the knowledge that you're doing some good at the same time.
