Mothers Who Make

A national scheme designed to support mothers who are creative in any field.
Oxford Playhouse, 11-12 Beaumont Street, Oxford OX1 2LW, Tue 24 July 2018

Mothers Who Make has come to Oxford! This nationwide initiative was set up to support mothers who are artists, makers, or creative in any field. The scheme is open to every kind of maker, including writers, artists, performers, bakers, musicians, and researchers, and to any kind of mother, including stepmums, foster mums, adoptive mums, grandmothers and mums-to-be. The monthly Mothers Who Make sessions aim to let mothers explore their creative practices, and collaborate with other makers.

Attendees are welcome to bring along children of any age, but it's also fine to turn up on your own. The next session, on Tuesday 24th July in the Top Room of the Oxford Playhouse, runs from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and costs £5 to attend. Attendees should note that the Top Room is not wheelchair accessible.
