A series of talks celebrating Blackwell's 140th anniversary kicks off with Let's Discuss the NHS, where two doctors and authors will be talking about their latest books and current political debates surrounding the NHS. Dr Adrian Massey (Sick-Note Britain) and Dr Youssef El-Gingihy (How to Dismantle the NHS in 10 Easy Steps) will be talking on a variety of different subjects, from the junior doctors' strike to the role of the NHS in the benefits system. There will be an extended Q&A section after the main talk, so the audience can get involved in this important discussion.

Tickets to this talk are £5, and a bar with a selection of drinks will be available before the talk.
