Enjoy a snowdrop walk through woodland and gardens + historic house guided tours + tea/cakes + B&B.
Braziers Park, Ipsden, Wallingford, Oxfordshire OX10 6AN, Sat 9 February - Sun 10 February 2019
For those in search of some restorative fresh air, Braziers Park offers a peaceful destination this weekend. Visitors can take a guided tour or use one of the free maps to explore and experience the many types of wildlife inhabiting the 55-acre site, which is resplendent with snowdrops at this time of year.
After working up an appetite from your stroll, relax in the Drawing Room or Dining Room of the fascinating building with tea and cake, enjoying the fact that a large amount of the food served at Braziers is grown onsite, with local, seasonal and organic ingredients a given. There will also be live music throughout the weekend, and seasonal plants on sale so you can take a little piece of nature home with you.
And if you’d like to become even more immersed in the getaway experience, why not book an overnight stay?
Advance booking is highly advised for this event. Dogs are welcome onsite but only guide/service dogs are permitted inside the buildings. As a community which places great importance on sustainability, Braziers encourage car sharing and the use of public transport - the X39/X40 bus stops nearby - although there is a small car park which can be used for an extra fee.
