The Up in Arms is the new incarnation of The Somerset, a beloved Marston Road pub that was threatened with closure, but survived as a pub thanks to a dedicated local campaign. Taken over by Dodo Pub Co., who Oxford residents will know from their other establishments The Rickety Press and The Rusty Bicycle, The Up in Arms promises to be another quirky, fun pub serving great beer and food from the Dodo's signature menus (try the pizza!), and everyone is welcome to come and join them for their opening party on Friday 26th April.

Entry to the opening party is free, and there will be live music from DJs Nico Jo, Johny Louche and Yaya Jojo. Everything kicks off at 6pm, so grab a pint and celebrate a true community effort!
