East Oxford Community Centre, 44b Princes Street (corner of Cowley Rd), Oxford OX4 1HU, Mon 7 December - Thu 24 December 2020
This Christmas, Oxford Homeless Project will be spreading festive cheer to people and families in need, by delivering at least 100 hampers - and there are loads of ways to get involved!
If you would like to refer yourself or a loved one to receive a hamper, hit the 'email organiser' button or text Keith - 07954 407 742 or Shabnam - 07888 659 924. They just need to know a first name only, number of people in the household and if the household includes kids.
The team at East Oxford Community Centre have kindly donated their space to receive and hold donations. You can drop off items between 12 noon and 4pm on 7th, 14th and 21st December. Items required include:
Christmas Crackers Mince pies (alcohol free) Christmas puddings Xmas decorations Non perishable food items Toiletries (perfumes / aftershave) Small toys and teddies Winter woollies for all ages Books and games Chocolate and sweet treats
Hamper making days will be morning, afternoon and evening slots of up to 4 people at a time (to enable social distancing) on 21st, 22nd and 23rd December, and delivery will take place on the evenings of 22nd, 23rd and 24th December. If you would like to volunteer with hamper packing or delivery, contact Keith on the details above.
You can also help by donating money: contact Oxford Homeless Project using the details above or via their Facebook page to obtain bank details.
