Yes, Ocean's 13 is all style over substance; a good night out?
If you want to leave your brain at home and look at some lovely men beautifully shot, fine. If you want a film with pace, interesting plot and originality, no.
Seeing this, the third of the trilogy, it felt so much as though you were just giving money to the George/Brad slush fund....a boy's club par excellence, the Ocean's 13 males were all doing in-jokes, and doing more or less the same as the last three films, ie making some other rich male look stupid.
Poor dialogue (some of the exchanges between the main protagonists were absolutely incomprehensible) and random plot manouevres made this a disappointing film; while better than the last; when the tiresome Catherine Zeta Jones tried to steal every scene from the blokes, it still did little to impress.
Great PR for Las Vegas, designer suits and being ultra cool hip Hollywood stars, poor PR for creative film making.
