This truly is an unmissable film if you want to understand what is going on in this region. It should be compulsory viewing for all politicians especially Gordon Brown and Bob Ainsworth, they would then understand why the war in Afghanistan is unwinnable.
Don't let that put you off though - it's not a preachy or lecturing film, it's funny, entertaining and thoughtful. The scenes of the countryside and mountains of the North West frontier are beautifully photographed and will make you want to visit the region. It had its UK premiere at the Ultimate - well done to them, so lets give this remarkable cinema the support it needs and make sure it remains a viable asset to Oxford.
