RSC shows begin life in Stratford workshops and theatres, where they design and build the sets, costumes and props, and rehearse and perform the plays in their three theatres: the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, the Swan Theatre and the Studio Theatre at The Other Place. Everyone in the company, from actors to armourers, musicians to technicians, the people serving your interval drinks to the ushers, play a part in creating the world you see on stage.
