Heroes and Sweethearts
deluxe CD/DVD Giveaway
To commemorate Remembrance Day in 2010, Daily Info is proud to offer two copies of the deluxe CD/DVD package Heroes and Sweethearts, released this July in association with the Royal Air Force Museum to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
The two CDs in the package are a salute to the greatest wartime songs, featuring all those familiar original recordings by Vera Lynn, Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, George Formby, Flanagan and Allen, the Andrews Sisters - and even Winston Churchill himself (Nimrod/Churchill Speeches).
The DVD - Songs that Won the War - includes over thirty songs and tunes from the war years plus newsreel footage and rare original artist performances from Judy Garland, Bing Crosby, Gracie Fields, Vera Lynn and more.
