Whatever her favourite Italian treat, find it here, imported directly from Italy and accompanied by cool music, fun vintage decor and a room full of dons.

Make it lighter on your pocket this year by winning a £50 voucher* in our Mother’s Day competition. For your chance to win, simply email us your answer to the following competition question:

*Please note that the voucher can be used on restaurant dining only (not take-out) and will be valid for 1 month from 14 Mar - 14 Apr 2010.

The winner:

'My mother's would be Spicy Arab Beef – as she lives in the Middle East and is very vibrant and exotic – but mad as a cow at the best of times! :)'

Our favourite entries:

'Pizza ‘Complesso e Amabile (complex and lovable) - for a difficult but lovable mother:

Salmon and anchovies (hard to please)
Egg yolk and artichoke (do not provoke)
An olive in the middle (she’s a riddle)
Seasoned with garlic (mustn’t contradict)
Crusty edges, cut into wedges (and careful with that knife)
Gorgonzola, make it runny (she’s quirky, witty and funny)
No need to cover in foil (she is trusty and loyal)
Attractive tableware (she really does care)
A daffodil for beautification (she deserves a decoration)
Call it a complex creation: (the best in the nation)
My mother xx Love you xx '

- Diana

'Basil pesto, rocket, mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, parma ham and lots of garlic! An eclectic fresh assortment of ingredients for an eclectic young-at-heart mom! Love you'

- Thembi

'My mother reminds me of my favourite from Pizza Express, their ‘Padana’. The distinctive, familiarity of goats’ cheese, the comforting sweetness of caramelised red onions with the wonderfully good for you spinach on top!'

- Lauren

'Another pizza, because there is no pizza better than my mum's.'

- Justin

'If my mum was a pizza she would have sweetcorn,sun-dried tomatoes, and wild mushroom arranged in the shape of a smiling face simply because she's happy, warm, comforting but can have a bit of kick! I love her so much.'

- Hannah

'If my mum were a pizza she would be my favourite - a calzone stuffed with sweet mincemeat, chestnut and apple. I made this last christmas! Like Christmas mum is all about family, love and generosity. She is also a bit nutty like chestnuts!'

- Louise

'cheese, cheese n cheese with some sprinkle of chilli flex for my sweet, special, stylish n spicy mom.........luv u mom!!'

- Veenu

'My mum wouldn't need any extra toppings, she'd be a margharita. No need for flashy-ness and extravagance, just straightforward dependable, and hearty!'

- James

'As a pizza, my mum’s toppings would be well distributed, with a lot of thought going into the selection. But perhaps there would be several substitutions, later exchanged back for the original! The pizza might be brought out for final confirmation with the customer before putting into the oven. With some remaining doubt. But it would taste and look good, whatever the final outcome.'

- Rob

'My own Mum died 10 years ago, but I have what I call my adopted Mum, Margaret, now if she were a Pizza her toppings would be " Tender chicken pieces, Bright red peppers, Sweet sliced tomatoes, Yummy mozarella and Rocking rocket all layered on top of Perfecto Pesto!"

She sure is a great lady and really deserves a good day out.'

- Nicky

'Sweet corn – for all those corny jokes that still make me smile
Onions – for all the times she cried by my side when life seemed
impossible
Ketchup – as she always makes the time to catch up with me on those
difficult days
Duck – for all those times she stopped my siblings from hitting me
with the football
Pine nuts – for all those Christmas memories of lying on her lap in
front of the fireplace
Artichoke hearts – for her beautiful heart which ties our family
together
Roasted eggplant – for all those scrumptious Italian dinners that
only a mom can make
Sausage – for all the times she had to put up with my father leaving
his socks on the floor
Cheese – for all those pop songs she played when I was young
Ham – for all the times she goofed around to help me feel comfortable
in my own skin
Beef – for all the times she took my side in an argument
Jalapeno peppers – for that stinging sense of wit that makes her
light up the room'

- Jay

'My mum would be a lettuce pizza because she is a little gem.'

- Nick

'Roast Chicken pieces; garlic; small roast potatoes; cauliflower and green beans with a light cover of gravy.
She has traditional family values and enjoys sharing home-cooked, timeless food.'

- Susan

'If my mum were a pizza the toppings would be irrelevant, she would merely insist that it be cooked her way, as she knows best. Of course.'

- Imogen

'I would want to make my Mum cry, tears of joy, of course, so would include Leek, to remind her of her Welsh heritage, spinich because she is strong like Popeye and spicy beef, as its great like she is.'

- Daniel
