Instruments of Time and Truth

Marc-Antoine Charpentier (1643-1704): Motet pour toutes les fêtes de notre Bienheureuse Vierge Marie, "Annuntiate Superi", H.333 - performed by Instruments of Time & Truth at SJE Arts earlier this year, directed by Edward Higginbottom. Dedicated to Mary, it's a suitably festive piece for this time of year.

Instruments of Time and Truth is a new period instrument ensemble, which aims to present world-class performances of baroque and classical music in Oxford and the surrounding region.

Tickets for their socially-distanced performances of Messiah at the Sheldonian Theatre on 20th December are practically sold out but you can email if you'd like to go on the waiting list.

If you enjoyed this piece, you can also show your appreciation by making a donation or becoming a friend of the group, or signing up to their mailing list via their homepage. If you're looking for the perfect Christmas present for the classical music aficionado in your life, Instruments of Time & Truth's online shop has a range of inspiring recordings from previous concerts.

And if you're a classical music industry professional looking to extend your outreach work, the ensemble are currently recruiting an Education Officer - the application deadline is midday tomorrow!
