Blenheim Palace has, in recent years, begun a pretty spectacular tradition. As the nights draw in, the Palace’s grounds light up with an Illumination Trail featuring over one million lights, lasers and seasonal sounds. As you wander along the trail you’ll see themed displays, with spots to stop and take in some of the more awe-inspiring aspects - and maybe even catch a glimpse of Father Christmas.
Within the Palace itself you'll discover an immersive exhibition telling the story of The Nutcracker. And in their courtyard you’ll find over 70 stalls and traders in a Christmas market (open until 8.30pm for trail and Palace visitors).
The trail and exhibition are open every day until 3rd January 2022, with the exception of Christmas Day. Tickets must be pre-booked online, and last entry to the grounds will be at 7:15pm on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve, and 8:45pm on all other dates.
